Xenia Crew Technology
Applying its proprietary technology, Xenia has developed XeniaCrew, a web tool that can interface with clients’ systems and support and monitor crew accommodation services with customisable functions.
The XeniaCrew application is able to get all the data regarding both the stay- number of craft, number of persons in the crew, number of rooms, stay period, craft arrival time, cost centre, etc., - and the hotel, and to return them to the customer.
The system that Xenia offers customers guarantees that all data sent, no matter their nature or the channels used to send them, are duly received and can be fully viewed, and that all operations of the management processes are continuously monitored.
Access to XeniaCrew web tool by users is governed by credentials (user name and password). The macro sections clients can use are archive and reporting.
In the reporting section there is a georeferenced map available that shows destinations, hotels and points of interest by means of customisable (detailed) zoom levels.
Users click on any destination or hotel and will view details, number of night stays made, allotments plus relevant use statistics, number of cancellations and no show, number of claims and number of survey procedures carried out, volume of expenditure and distance from points of interest.
The client has access to data via the Crew Mobile App too.
Strongly focused on and committed to the development of technology, Xenia – by means of specialised services – provides IT systems that are entirely manufactured in-house for the organisation and management of the crew accommodation service. The attention paid to research and innovation results in high value-added products and services.
Benchmarking and expense management systems, self-booking tools, web services, interfacing with proprietary or third-party platforms and reporting matrixes represent some of the useful solutions for an integrated management of the travel industry processes and a thorough monitoring of the sector dynamics.
Xenia Hotel Rating®
The operating model adopted by Xenia makes use of continuous site inspection activities – also in co-sourcing with the client companies – mystery shoppers, mystery guests, technical meetings with the hotel managers, objective assessment and scouting ratings that guarantee the direct knowledge of hotel facilities.
Scouting in hôtellerie is understood as a real structured research activity that is well-defined in terms of its purposes and modalities, and which is aimed at the accurate and continuous re-engineering of the offer within an integrated mobility concept logic.
The quality level of the hotels is examined in the context of a process that uses the Xenia Hotel Rating application. The tool observes more than 80 parameters – ranging from the hotel physical-structural characteristics to the assessment of the service offered – to each of which – following a dichotomous approach – a specific weight is assigned leaving subjective assessments aside and returning alphanumeric rating values.
Xenia's web tool is equipped with a georeferencing system that allows a user to make searches starting from a Point of Interest (POI) or from a generic address to develop an itinerary with all relevant details. The map displays partner hotels showing whether there are any available rooms, and gives the possibility to directly request reservation.
Georeferencing supports in a systemic manner the hotel programme activities conducted by Xenia and makes the definitions of alternatives and reference areas more effective.
In the booking request management phase, the system takes into account the distance between the hotel and the pick-up address useful for the customer.
It’s a proprietary system for monitoring the level of occupancy of the facilities of the hotel programmes.
In the dashboard, it is therefore possible to continuously monitor the occupancy at the hotels of the relevant hotel programme. By means of cockpits, the deltas are expressed in terms of room night with respect to allotments and to the availability of rooms made available for the customer.
In keeping with its environmental policy, Xenia shall submit questionnaires to the primary providers of services that enable the development and sharing of environmentally-friendly choices.
The questionnaire submitted to hotels collects details of behaviour with respect to situations ranging from the management of energy/water saving, from the criteria related to procurement to the use of products, from the organisation of offices up to the correct behaviours adopted.This provides an objective judgement that positions each hotel within a green-lodging matrix.
The “eco-friendly” profiling of accommodation facilities is therefore part of Xenia’s offer and management of hôtellerie, granting a distinctive value and character to the hotel programmes.
Crew Mobile App
Xenia has developed an App for the crew accommodation service. The application enables users to manage and update in a complete manner and in real time their own trip. Designed and produced taking into account all travellers’ needs, the App offers utilities so as to always be informed and organised.
The application is able to get all the data regarding the hotel reservation and the hotel, and to return them to the customer and the operator.
It enables to:
- display and update the travel plan;
- request reservation directly to Xenia systems;
- check the status of the flight/train/ship (departure and arrival time, aircraft, gate, etc.);
- make the check-in online;
- have information about the booked hotel (check-in/check-out times, telephone, address, etc.).
It offers general utilities such as:
- alerts on flights and trains: changes, delays, cancellations, news, strikes;
- weather forecasts;
- maps and indications to reach the destination;
- emergency numbers;
- travel news;
- currency exchange.
